Monoxer Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representatives: Kotaro Takeuchi, Keisuke Ayanagi), provider of the memory platform "Monoxer," announced today that it has been selected for the proposal in the "FY2026 Global Human Resource Development AI-Utilized Learning Platform Construction Outsourcing Project" (Yokohama Learning Platform Construction Project) conducted by the Yokohama City Board of Education.

This project is expected to be implemented in 495 Yokohama municipal elementary schools, junior high schools, compulsory education schools, and special needs schools, covering approximately 250,000 students. It aims to establish a foundation that supports learning tailored to each student by utilizing educational data, thereby realizing "child-centered learning."

■ Overview and Background of the Project

The Yokohama City Board of Education is promoting initiatives to realize learning tailored to each student, based on the ICT environment developed under the GIGA School Program.

This project further develops these initiatives by introducing AI drills in all schools and developing and operating Yokohama City's unique learning infrastructure, the "Yokohama Learning Platform," utilizing AI and educational data.

While the spread of ICT has expanded learning opportunities, challenges such as insufficient retention of learning content and the inability to fully utilize accumulated learning history for instruction have become apparent.

In this context, AI drills are expected to play a role in providing individually optimized questions, visualizing learning retention, and connecting it to subsequent learning and lesson improvement. Furthermore, automatic question generation and scoring are expected to reduce the burden on teachers and staff, and by having digital tools support individualized optimization, which previously required a lot of time, teachers are anticipated to be able to fully exercise their original expertise.

Based on this background, our company was selected for the proposal for this project, and from April 2026, the AI drill "Monoxer" will be introduced in 495 municipal elementary schools, junior high schools, compulsory education schools, and special needs schools. This initiative will serve as an important foundation for realizing "child-centered learning" through the utilization of educational data.

■ Role of Monoxer and Collaboration with the Yokohama Learning Platform

Monoxer is a service that supports the retention of learning content by presenting optimal questions based on each student's learning history, understanding level, and forgetting curve.

In this project, beyond simply introducing AI drills, we will proceed with unique development, such as visualizing data on learning status, achievement, and common stumbling blocks, and recommending learning content tailored to each individual's situation, by utilizing Yokohama City's educational big data, such as the "Yokohama City Academic Ability and Learning Status Survey," and daily learning data obtained from AI drills.

This will enable students to continuously learn according to their understanding, and teachers will be able to prioritize instruction and provide individual follow-up more accurately based on learning data.

Furthermore, through the sharing and utilization of learning data, it will contribute to improving the quality of instruction in schools, supporting policy consideration and decision-making by the Board of Education, and establishing a learning improvement cycle.

■ On-site Support for Schools and Instructional Transformation through Educational Data

This project emphasizes the establishment of a support system aimed at continuous utilization and retention in schools, beyond just the introduction of AI drills.

Monoxer will build a comprehensive support system in cooperation with teachers and staff, including training for teachers and manual development, to support utilization tailored to the circumstances of each school.

We will also visualize data such as learning progress, achievement, and usage status, providing an environment where students' stumbling blocks and understanding can be grasped, and contribute to policy improvement through reporting to the Board of Education.

This will reduce the burden on teachers to grasp learning status and, based on accumulated learning data, improve the quality of instruction tailored to each student, leading to the creation of more time for deeper engagement.

By utilizing AI and educational data, we will achieve both learning efficiency and advanced instruction, contributing to the realization of school environments where teachers can devote more time and expertise to children.

■ Comment from the Yokohama City Board of Education

The Yokohama City Board of Education is developing the "Yokohama Learning Platform," which utilizes educational big data to provide optimal learning tailored to each student's progress. This platform aims to elicit students' feelings of "I understand" and "learning is fun" through individually optimized questions based on learning data and "stumbling block resolution videos" created in collaboration with companies and universities.

The "Monoxer" to be introduced this time is an AI drill strong in memory retention, characterized by questions optimized according to each individual's understanding and progress. This is expected to contribute to academic improvement and further utilization of educational data.

The realization of the "Yokohama Learning Platform" requires collaboration with motivated development partners who share the city's vision. We will work together with all stakeholders to ensure that all children can joyfully overcome their "stumbling blocks" at their own pace and foster self-directed learning based on their interests and concerns.

■ Comment from Kotaro Takeuchi, Representative Director and CEO of Monoxer Inc.

We are deeply honored to have been selected for the "Yokohama Learning Platform" construction project promoted by Yokohama City.

We understand that Yokohama City's goal for this project is not merely to utilize AI, but to realize learning tailored to each student based on educational data and to connect that learning to daily lessons.

Learning is inherently unique to each individual, and its accumulation shapes future possibilities. Monoxer has provided a mechanism for reliable learning content acquisition, centered on memory retention.

Through this initiative, we will work with the people of Yokohama City to ensure that each child's learning becomes more certain, and that this accumulation leads to confidence and future challenges. We will contribute to creating an environment where each child's learning accumulates as solid ability.

■ About Monoxer Inc.

Monoxer Inc. is committed to the mission of "Memory in everyday life." and develops and provides the learning platform "Monoxer" for memory retention.

Memory is at the core of our human intellectual activities.

When people recognize something, make judgments, create new things, or interact with others, there is always a foundation of memory accumulated daily within themselves, which has a significant impact. On the other hand, memorizing, like memorizing English words, is often perceived as a painful activity. We believe that this pain is caused by information not being organized in an easy-to-remember format, and by the methods and management of memory retention being left to individual感覚.

As a result, people unconsciously distance themselves from memory, narrowing the foundation that shapes their own potential. If memory could be an effortless and natural activity for everyone, one could freely learn new languages and work abroad, or acquire qualifications to pursue desired professions. New horizons would open up even in how one spends weekends or in casual daily conversations.

In other words, memory is what gives depth and choices to people's lives. Monoxer's mission is to make "memory easier and more commonplace." For all people to maximize their potential and make their lives richer and more fruitful.
