Background of Implementation

Tokyo Seika has many employees who travel to production areas across the country. They were processing approximately 1,300 expense and payable applications per month, including other miscellaneous expenses, using an in-house system based on paper. Consequently, significant challenges included "internal time constraints for sales staff for expense settlement," "delays in approval workflows due to superiors' long business trips," and "workload for the accounting department due to manual checks of transportation costs, consumption tax rates, etc." Against this backdrop and considering the recent widespread adoption of expense settlement systems, they began considering system implementation with the aim of adopting a new system operation that aligns with the times.
