'Money Forward Cloud' Integrates with POS Register Systems Provided by Busicom

Money Forward, Inc. has enabled API data integration for its 'Money Forward Cloud' service with the POS register systems 'BCPOS' and 'Rearegi' provided by Busicom, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as Busicom). This integration will automatically link sales data generated at the register to accounting software, significantly reducing the burden of accounting tasks in store operations.

Busicom develops and sells POS register and POS systems, as well as providing solutions and business hardware necessary for store operations, such as POS peripheral devices.

Through this API integration, sales and accounts receivable payment data recorded by Busicom's 'BCPOS' and 'Rearegi' will be automatically entered into 'Money Forward Cloud'※1 via the cloud store headquarters management system 'TenpoVisor', generating suggested journal entries automatically. Furthermore, the sales data structure is organized into three tiers: 'store code, transaction, and details', allowing for flexible integration timing, eliminating manual input and significantly reducing the burden of accounting tasks in store operations.

'Money Forward Cloud' will continue to expand its integrations with external systems to enhance convenience and support users managing store operations in focusing more on their core business.

Background of this Integration

Businesses operating stores input daily sales data accumulated in their register systems into accounting software. However, challenges such as manual data entry errors and high workload have arisen due to the complexity of journal entries caused by the coexistence of 8% reduced tax rates and 10% standard tax rates, as well as diverse payment methods like cash, credit cards, and gift certificates.

With this integration, sales data from the register is automatically entered into 'Money Forward Cloud' via the management system.
