MoneyForward and CCI Group Announce Business Partnership

MoneyForward Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'MoneyForward') and CCI Group, Inc. (hereinafter 'CCI Group') have signed a business partnership agreement aimed at solving challenges in corporate back-office and financial operations. Through this partnership, the two companies will promote the development of AI-BPO services, integrate their respective expertise, expand human resource exchanges, and explore new collaborative opportunities in overseas markets.

Background of the Partnership Agreement

With Japan's working-age population declining, labor shortages at regional enterprises and startups have become increasingly severe, making back-office operational efficiency a critical business challenge. Both companies have previously focused on improving back-office efficiency to address this social issue. In May 2025, MoneyForward, along with CCI Group's subsidiary CC Innovation, Inc. and BPIO, Inc., jointly established CCIForward, Inc., integrating MoneyForward's back-office SaaS 'MoneyForward Cloud,' BPO services, and cloud implementation support expertise to support the growth of regional enterprises and startups.

Building on these achievements, the two companies have now formalized a deeper strategic partnership. Recently, MoneyForward has positioned itself as the 'No.1 Back-Office AI Company,' accelerating the integration of AI agents into existing products and developing AI-native applications. Meanwhile, CCI Group contributes to regional development not only as a financial institution but also through consulting and investment funds. By combining MoneyForward's AI-driven products with CCI Group's diversified services centered on finance, the partnership aims to create new value through AI-BPO services and explore international expansion.

Synergies from the Partnership

(1) Evolution of Existing BPO Services into AI-BPO Services

The traditional BPO services provided by CCIForward will be enhanced with MoneyForward's AI-powered products and AI utilization expertise, evolving into advanced 'AI-BPO services.' This will enable regional enterprises and startups struggling with labor shortages and knowledge silos to focus more effectively on core business activities.

(2) Activation of Human Resource Exchange

The scope of personnel exchange will expand beyond subsidiaries to include the entire CCI Group and MoneyForward organizations. The cross-pollination of talent between CCI Group, deeply rooted in local communities, and MoneyForward, a leader in back-office SaaS, will drive organizational vitality and foster innovation.

(3) Exploration of New Collaborative Opportunities in Overseas Markets
