Money Forward Consulting and GenerativeX Sign Basic Agreement for Strategic Business Partnership

Money Forward Consulting, Inc., a group company of Money Forward, Inc., has signed a basic agreement for a strategic business partnership with GenerativeX, Inc.

Currently, a shortage of back-office personnel in areas such as corporate planning, accounting, and human resources is an urgent issue in Japan. In this context, the social implementation of generative AI is accelerating, and AI workers that autonomously perform tasks without waiting for human instructions are gaining attention. Combining AI agents with the increasingly widespread use of SaaS will be the foundation for supporting sustainable corporate growth by simultaneously addressing labor shortages and achieving business growth.

On the other hand, to achieve the expected return on investment in AI utilization, it is necessary to expand the scope of application from individual task automation to the entire process and the entire organization. To this end, overall design and system development, including requirements definition, data design, integration with existing systems, and governance construction, are indispensable.

However, many on-site operations lack personnel who can lead business design based on AI utilization, and there are still many manual tasks, with insufficient accumulation of data necessary for AI and inadequate systemization. Furthermore, companies face challenges such as their internal systems for building and operating AI agents not keeping pace.

This partnership will combine Money Forward Consulting's "BPR* & Technology Expertise," which has supported business design and DX/AX for over 1,000 companies, with GenerativeX's "AI Construction & Implementation Capabilities," which has a track record of over 150 AI projects, primarily with large corporations. Starting with the creation of work processes where AI can achieve maximum performance, we will provide end-to-end support from requirements definition, data design, system integration, AI agent construction, to on-site adoption, thereby realizing a dramatic improvement in back-office productivity in the AI era.

■ Planned Initiatives

1. Provision of General-Purpose AI Workers to Solve Common Back-Office Issues

We will combine GenerativeX's advanced AI agent construction capabilities with the Money Forward Group's expertise in business design, which is not dependent on specific products. We plan to develop and provide general-purpose AI workers that can be introduced regardless of the SaaS usage environment to address common back-office issues faced by companies.

2. Provision of Custom-Made AI Workers for Autonomous Execution of Unique Business Processes

For companies with unique business processes that are difficult to handle with general-purpose products, or those with complex IT environments where multiple SaaS and legacy systems are mixed, we will individually design and build custom-made AI workers tailored to their specific situations. Starting with BPR and data preparation, we will sequentially deploy consulting services that provide end-to-end support from formulating business concepts based on AI utilization to implementing AI across all existing systems and ensuring operational adoption by the field.
