Mizuno has signed a new official supplier agreement with DeNA Kawasaki Brave Thunders Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President and CEO: Wataru Kawasaki, hereinafter referred to as Kawasaki Brave Thunders).
With long histories, Mizuno celebrating its 120th anniversary and Kawasaki Brave Thunders its 76th year since its founding, the two companies will move forward as partners to "create the next history," going beyond just providing uniforms. Under its management philosophy of "contributing to society through better sports products and the promotion of sports," Mizuno has been working to enhance the value of sports in various disciplines and regions. In recent years, the basketball market, particularly centered around the B.LEAGUE, is expected to grow, with an expansion not only in the number of participants but also in the culture of spectating and cheering, and in lifestyle domains. This collaboration with Kawasaki Brave Thunders aims to create regional value through sports. As a group, Mizuno will leverage the expertise of its group companies, including Senoh Co., Ltd., to improve the competitive environment and expand touchpoints with the local community. Moving forward, we aim to create new experiential value and culture through basketball, and by delivering new value to the region and society, we will contribute to the development of the basketball market and the enhancement of user value.
The Future Realized by Both Companies
1. Product Provision and Development Support for Player Growth
Mizuno will provide products equipped with technology and functionality proven in various sports to Kawasaki Brave Thunders, contributing to the further development of basketball as a sport. In addition to the top team, we will enhance the development environment through product provision to youth teams and students of "THUNDERS KIDS," the largest-scale Kawasaki Brave Thunders school in the B.League.
2. Beyond the Arena: Transforming the City into a Court of Excitement
Through the collaboration of the two companies, we aim to create new sports experiences that transcend the boundaries of the arena. We will incorporate the appeal of sports and basketball into daily life, evolving the city itself into a space where people can feel excitement. We will work to create a new urban landscape where the presence of basketball culture and the Kawasaki Brave Thunders can be felt just by stepping out into the city.
3. Making Kawasaki a "City Where You Can Always Play Basketball"
Mizuno will utilize the knowledge and technology of Senoh, which holds over half the market share for B.League home arena basketball hoops, to establish an environment in Kawasaki where anyone can easily start and continue playing basketball.
2026-27 Season Uniforms
Design Concept: "Wearing the Unchanging, Continuing to Challenge"
This design expresses the spirit of innovation and the continuous pursuit of higher goals, built upon the foundation of tradition established to date. Using the team's symbol, "thunder and lightning," as a motif, the design evokes a sense of explosive power, speed, and strong energy.
The home uniform creates a sense of dynamism with a gradient and lightning-like flashes running along the sides. The away uniform expresses strength and presence by incorporating a lightning pattern on the sides.
Furthermore, by valuing unchanging elements such as long-inherited values and team spirit while incorporating modern design expressions, it embodies "tradition and innovation" and "inheritance and evolution."
In addition, the material used is 100% recycled material, balancing lightness, stretchability, and durability. It is an environmentally friendly material that combines high design quality through sublimation printing with sweat-absorbing and quick-drying properties that contribute to hard work.
Mizuno will support Kawasaki Brave Thunders in both design and functionality, and will support their challenge for the new season.

Comment from Wataru Kawasaki, President and CEO, DeNA Kawasaki Brave Thunders Co., Ltd.
"We were deeply impressed by Mizuno's bold challenge to "make a full-scale entry into the B.League" while possessing a 120-year history. This partnership is not just about changing the uniforms players wear. It is a challenge to create a new landscape in Kawasaki's daily life by fusing Mizuno's uncompromising craftsmanship with the overwhelming excitement we have created in the arena. By increasing the number of hoops in the city and coloring the daily routes with the Thunders, we will seriously shape a world where basketball is a natural part of the city's scenery with Mizuno.
