[Event Report] Brand Bag Sharing Service 'Laxus' Proposes 'Resource-Circulating Lifestyle' with METI and MOE

Laxus Technologies Inc. (Headquarters: Hiroshima City, Naka-ku; Representative Director and President: Keisuke Takahashi), which operates the brand bag sharing service "Laxus," participated in an event titled "Event Proposing a Resource-Circulating Lifestyle Utilizing Sharing Services," hosted by the Sharing Economy Association, held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at AnotherADdress TOKYO within COREDO Nihonbashi.

The event consisted of three parts: Part 1, "The Current State and Future of Resource Circulation, and Expectations for Sharing"; Part 2, "How Does Life Change When You Let Go of Ownership?"; and Part 3, a live commentary on the demonstration "Sustainable Commuting Before After." Under the theme "How Does Commuting Style Change with Sharing?", discussions deepened from both public and private sector perspectives on the current state of the sharing economy and circular economy in the fashion domain, and new value for consumers. It was also shared that in the future, a shift from a society of mass production, mass consumption, and mass disposal is required, and mechanisms such as sharing, reuse, and repair will be important elements supporting a resource-circulating economy.

In the latter half of the event, styling demonstrations were also conducted utilizing services from Laxus (brand bags), AnotherADdress (fashion), and ReCute (hair irons). Through participants actually updating their commuting styles, it was shown that sharing is not about "endurance" but an experience that leads to "enjoyment" and "confidence." Through the experience of upgrading commuting styles by one rank, new possibilities for resource-circulating fashion were felt.
