For this episode, the show's first business trip to South Korea, we welcomed Mr. Lee Won-gi, representative of the Korean brand 'mmogarden', as our 35th guest.

The first part of the guest episode featuring Mr. Lee Won-gi, representative of 'mmogarden', is scheduled to be distributed on various Podcasts starting at 19:00 on Friday, April 10, 2026.

Mr. Lee Won-gi was born in 1983 in Masan, South Korea. Raised by a fashion designer mother, he spent his childhood in her atelier, making fashion a constant presence in his life. He went on to study fashion at Pusan National University. After completing his military service, he came to Japan simply because he 'somehow wanted to go to Japan'. However, he couldn't speak Japanese at the time and even started studying Hiragana on the airplane ride there. After arriving in Japan, he attended a Japanese language school for a year and then entered Osaka Mode Gakuen to study fashion professionally. He stayed in Japan for a total of six years.

After returning to Korea, he launched his own brand, 'mmogarden'. The name 'mmo' comes from the sound of the Korean word '애매모호 (pronounced aemaemoho)', which means 'ambiguous' in Japanese. It is a fitting name for Mr. Lee, who describes his own personality as 'ambiguous'. The word 'garden' reflects his desire to nurture the brand slowly and comfortably, like gardening. He currently operates a store in Mangwon, Seoul. The simple yet highly functional items boast high popularity in Korea, and an increasing number of customers visit from Japan after hearing the positive reviews. Regarding the brand's growth, Mr. Lee says, 'I am happy it's popular, but I want to grow it slowly like a turtle, at our own pace, together with friends on the same wavelength.' In this episode, we asked him extensively about his life journey and his passion for the brand over two parts. Please listen to the end.
