Infomart Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Makoto Kimura; hereinafter 'the Company'), which streamlines all types of business operations with the power of digital, announces the release of its new service 'BP Expense Management,' optimized for the unique expense management needs of the construction industry. An early user version is scheduled for release in May 2026, with a full launch planned for January 2027.

By linking with project information such as construction sites and properties from the Company's 'BtoB Platform TRADE,' this service enables the management of on-site reimbursements and petty cash—which were previously difficult to capture with conventional invoice management alone—as costs tied to individual construction projects. By digitizing the analog cash expenditures that were invisible on many construction sites, it reduces the complex and burdensome task of journalizing, achieves accurate budget vs. actual management at the site level, and contributes to improving the productivity of both back-office and on-site operations.

Background of This Service Launch

In the construction industry, various forms are exchanged with many subcontractors. The use of our 'BtoB Platform TRADE' has expanded to general contractors, subcontractors, and their partners, contributing to the industry's productivity improvement by digitizing the cumbersome document processing tasks between companies.

However, in the area of expense management within companies, general systems could not fully support the unique operations of the construction industry, such as construction code management, cost journalizing, and petty cash handling. This left a challenge where analog processes using paper and Excel tended to remain. By now providing a service that also supports the practical needs of the construction industry in expense management, we aim to achieve further improvements in overall business efficiency.
