Hitachi Global Life Solutions Launches Cordless Stick Cleaner "Raku Mente Stick" PV-BG1000R with Automatic Dust Collection Dock

Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc. (Hitachi GLS) will launch the cordless stick cleaner "Raku Mente Stick" PV-BG1000R, equipped with an automatic dust collection dock, in mid-July.

This product comes with a dustless automatic dust collection dock that automatically collects dust from the stick cleaner body (hereinafter referred to as the main unit). Features such as "Dust Dash" (*1), which easily empties the dust collection dock with the press of a button, and "Power Long-Lasting Filter Care" (*2), which uses the power of air to remove fine dust and debris adhering to the main unit's filter during dust collection, make troublesome dust disposal and maintenance easier, providing a comfortable cleaning experience.

In addition, it achieves both a lightweight design with a standard weight (*3) (stick form) of 1.4 kg and powerful suction, allowing for thorough dust removal with light operation. Furthermore, the automatic dust collection dock has been designed with ease of use in mind, considering factors such as operating noise and installation flexibility. In addition, this product features a sleek design that blends into living spaces and uses gentle colors, as well as consideration for the environment by using recycled plastic for some of the product's plastic materials.

Key Features of the New Product <Cordless Stick Cleaner "Raku Mente Stick" PV-BG1000R>

1. Automatically collects dust sucked up by the main unit. "Raku Mente" for easy dust disposal and maintenance New

This product refers to a series of functions that make dust disposal and maintenance easier as "Raku Mente."

It comes with a dustless automatic dust collection dock, and simply returning the main unit to the automatic dust collection dock automatically collects the dust in the dust case.

The filter in the main unit protects the motor from fine dust and debris, and the condition of the filter affects suction power, requiring regular maintenance. Therefore, as a function to support daily filter maintenance, "Power Long-Lasting Filter Care" has been adopted, which uses the power of air to remove fine dust and debris adhering to the main unit's filter during dust collection.

The dust collection box of the automatic dust collection dock features "Dust Dash," which allows for easy dust disposal by simply pressing a button. Furthermore, by setting a tissue (*4), the filter becomes less likely to get dirty, making maintenance easier.

In addition to these "Raku Mente" functions, the dust collected by the main unit is compressed within the dust collection box, allowing for dust disposal from the automatic dust collection dock approximately once every 2 months (*5). Furthermore, "Power Long-Lasting Filter Care" suppresses clogging of the main unit's clean filter, and maintenance of the main unit is only required approximately once every 2 months (*6). This reduces the effort involved in dust disposal and maintenance, providing a comfortable cleaning experience.

2. Achieves both powerful suction and a standard weight of 1.4 kg. Clean exhaust New

The main unit is equipped with a compact and lightweight fan motor, achieving both a lightweight design with a standard weight (stick form) of 1.4 kg and powerful suction. By collecting the dust in the dust case each time the main unit is returned to the automatic dust collection dock, and simultaneously suppressing clogging of the clean filter with "Power Long-Lasting Filter Care," which uses the power of air to remove fine dust and debris adhering to the filter, powerful suction is maintained for a long time. In addition, the exhaust system is designed with consideration, achieving "clean exhaust" (*7) that does not allow approximately 99% of fine dust to escape.

3. Consideration for ease of use and operating noise New

The automatic dust collection dock achieves operating noise (*8) that is not noticeable during operation. In addition, the power cord can be routed from three directions (left, right, and back), allowing for flexible placement according to the installation location and room layout. Furthermore, the dust case and dust collection box can be disassembled and washed with water (*9), allowing them to be kept clean.

The head is equipped with the "Powerful Smart Head plus," and the "3-Direction Dust Clear Light" illuminates from the front as well as the left and right with green LED lights, making it easier to see hidden dust (*10). In addition, with the "4-Direction Suction Mechanism" that can suck from the front, back, left, and right, and the "Angled Shape" that firmly scrapes with a brush angled to catch dust, dust is thoroughly sucked up.

4. Design that blends into living spaces and considers the environment New

This product features a sleek form that blends into living spaces and a gentle color scheme based on natural white. In addition, it incorporates environmentally conscious design, using recycled plastic for more than 10% by mass ratio of the product's plastic materials (example usage: parts of the product body's handle and automatic dust collection dock). The exterior resin parts are unpainted, considering material recycling. In addition, a cassette-type lithium-ion battery is used, making it easy to separate the lithium-ion battery when the product is disposed of.
