Helpfeel Inc. (Head office: Kyoto, Kyoto Prefecture; Representative Director CEO: Isshu Rakusai; hereinafter: Helpfeel), which accelerates the social implementation of AI through the power of knowledge, announces the appointment of Shio Miyashita as Director and COO.
Since joining in 2022, Miyashita has led fundraising and business planning as CFO, and from 2024, as COO, she has driven the reorganization of sales and marketing divisions and the sophistication of budget management. With this appointment, Helpfeel will evolve from a "founder-centric organization" to an "autonomous organization led by a professional management team." We will accelerate global expansion, starting with North America, in addition to deepening the domestic market, and challenge ourselves to grow Japan-originated knowledge data platform into a global standard.
As a Director in the TMT sector of SMBC Nikko Securities Investment Banking Division, she was involved in finance and M&A support, including numerous IPOs of technology companies. She joined Helpfeel Inc. in 2022. As CFO, she contributed to fundraising totaling 2 billion yen. From 2024, as COO, she has been involved in overseeing the business side and formulating and executing growth strategies. She received the "Women in Finance Awards Asia 2022" Rising Star (2022) and the inaugural Grand Prix of the "Japan CxO Award" (2025).
■ Background and Overview of Appointment
Helpfeel has established a solid position in Japan, being adopted by over 800 sites in the enterprise sector, including finance and manufacturing (※1). As generative AI permeates society, it is organized and structured "knowledge data" that brings out the true value of AI. Therefore, Helpfeel provides the "AI Knowledge Data Platform," a foundation that supports AI performance, assisting companies in improving customer service and operational efficiency.
Helpfeel's expertise is not limited to Japan. Through the provision of "Gyazo," an image and video sharing service boasting a cumulative 3.2 billion uses in 242 countries and regions worldwide (※2), Helpfeel has accumulated know-how in product operation and marketing in the global market.
Building on these achievements, Helpfeel is now entering its "second founding period," aiming for world-class growth as a "Japan-born global AI company." Moving forward, we will leverage our domestic and international business foundations to further expand domestic business and fully activate global expansion starting from North America. To achieve this, a robust management execution system that supports non-continuous growth, in addition to product superiority, is indispensable. As part of strengthening this system for business growth, Shio Miyashita was appointed Director and COO of Helpfeel Inc. on March 26, 2026, after a general meeting of shareholders.
