■ "freee-mcp" now supports freee Sign, becoming an even more AI-friendly platform
freee has previously provided APIs covering various back-office areas such as accounting, HR, invoicing, time management, and sales. freee's unique strength is being the only domestic SaaS company to open APIs in such a wide range of areas, providing an integrated "structured data environment" that is easy for AI to work with.
Based on this strength, freee announced the open-source release of "freee-mcp," an MCP server that allows AI agents to directly operate various freee APIs, on March 2, 2026 (*1), and subsequently announced the start of providing a remote version of "freee-mcp" (*2).
This time, in addition to the five domains (accounting, HR, invoicing, time management, and sales) that were previously supported by the MPC tool, freee Sign's API in the electronic contract domain has newly become compatible with "freee-mcp" as the sixth domain (*3). With the support for freee Sign's API, "freee-mcp" now supports approximately 330 APIs for MPC tool integration. Furthermore, this compatibility allows AI to integrally handle contract data, enabling even more advanced business automation.
freee will continue to expand its APIs, aiming to be the most AI-friendly platform, chosen by AI for its ease of use. Through collaboration with AI, we will continue to evolve as a SaaS company that can provide maximum value to users.
"freee-mcp" OSS version is published as an npm package and is currently available for anyone to install and use.
