[SAMSUNG × AUBA] 'Samsung Mobile Advance 2026' Launched!

'AUBA', one of Japan's largest open innovation platforms operated by eiicon company (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Ayuko Nakamura; hereinafter 'eiicon'), announced that starting Wednesday, April 15, 2026, it will begin recruiting co-creation partners on AUBA for 'Samsung Mobile Advance 2026' (hereinafter 'this program'). Hosted by Samsung R&D Institute Japan, this program aims to create new value and commercialize new mobile devices.

This marks the fourth term that AUBA has handled the application process for this program since 'Samsung Mobile Advance 2023'. This year as well, AUBA will provide robust support, including the establishment of a dedicated website and PR for the program.

'Samsung Mobile Advance' is a program designed to incorporate 'new value' into mobile products and provide users with 'unprecedented experiences'. Hosted by the MX Division—which handles mobile device products at Samsung Electronics' headquarters—it is implemented at various global bases. In Japan, Samsung R&D Institute Japan has served as the secretariat since 2021.

Upon completion of the program, participants will have opportunities to receive support leading to further partnerships or investments, unlocking the potential for global business expansion. Recruiting innovative functional materials / design materials / hardware (components like sensors, batteries, optical devices) / heat dissipation solutions to be equipped on mobile and wearable devices. We also aim to co-create ideas and technologies that enhance the materials and design of GALAXY terminals like high-shipment smartphones, smartwatches, and accessories.
