CCN ENGLISH's Dream: Creating an Environment Where 10,000 Children Speak English Together with Teachers

We support the 'April Dream' project, which aims to make April 1st a day to share dreams. This press release represents the dream of Shikokoro Inc. The English education business 'CCN ENGLISH,' operated by Shikokoro Inc. (Saitama Prefecture, CEO Kazushi Imoto), shares the dream of 'creating an environment where 10,000 children speak English together with teachers' through the PR TIMES April Dream project. Our dream is not merely to increase English teaching materials or spread convenient tools. What we truly want to realize is an environment where children can treat English as something to 'speak' in their daily lives, rather than something to 'study,' by working together with teachers. For many years in Japan, the situation where people learn English but cannot speak it has persisted. Many children have learned vocabulary and grammar, solved problems, and taken tests. However, they have not accumulated enough experience in actually speaking English. We believe this is not a problem of individual effort, but a problem of the educational structure. That is why CCN ENGLISH has been distributing materials on YouTube for free, every single day, since February 2025. These are not just promotional videos; they are actual learning materials and practical training, providing a foundation for seeing, hearing, and speaking English. We have been releasing them daily for this project. Instead of just saying 'it would be nice to have such materials,' we decided to 'create them ourselves, deliver them for free, and show them in a usable form.' This accumulation has led to where we are now. Currently, CCN ENGLISH operates on a foundation of 5,595 pages of materials and audio-video training. Furthermore, from March 26 to April 6, 2026, we are releasing a 24-part YouTube Shorts countdown series leading up to the main crowdfunding launch. This challenge is not sudden; it is an extension of the daily free distribution we have continued since February 2025. We do not prioritize 'selling' materials. What is important is 'co-creation' with teachers. We want to work with teachers on the front lines to bring together wisdom—what materials are needed, what systems would be helpful, and how to make it easier for children to continue—and create new things. Then, we want to make the resulting materials available to students for free. We believe that teaching materials are not 'finished products to be handed over.' They are things that continue to grow while receiving feedback from the field. We create with teachers, deliver to children, and improve based on real-world experience. We believe this cycle becomes a truly valuable educational asset. In fiscal year 2026, the environment surrounding English education is set to change significantly. With the promotion of small-class sizes, the expansion of digital textbooks, the renewal of terminal environments, and the growing interest in 'listening' and 'speaking' skills, what is needed now is a concrete mechanism to increase opportunities for children to speak English in the classroom. As a first step, CCN ENGLISH is promoting the 'From Exam English to Spoken English! 10,000 People Project to Change English Education!' on CAMPFIRE. This project is not about buying materials and ending there. It is a project to grow materials with teachers, deliver them to children for free, and create an environment where 10,000 children speak English. We are not looking for supporters; we are looking for partners to build this with. Since February 2025, we have been distributing for free. And now, through the 24-part countdown, we are trying to give shape to this thought. We will not let this dream end as a dream, but implement it in the field of education.
