“Classic Picture Book Cookie Tin Selection by Cake.jp” Launches for the First Time at Sakura No Department Store Aomori on June 18 (Thu)

Cake.jp Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yuki Takahashi), which operates the cake and sweets e-commerce site “Cake.jp (Cake JP),” will open a limited-time pop-up store titled “Classic Picture Book Cookie Tin Selection by Cake.jp” at the 1st Floor Main Entrance of Sakura No Department Store Aomori Main Store from Thursday, June 18 to Thursday, July 2, 2026, for 15 days. The store will offer original cookie tins co-branded with Cake.jp and popular picture books.

This pop-up store has previously been held at Gransta Tokyo inside JR East Japan’s Tokyo Station and at over 50 locations nationwide, consistently attracting large numbers of visitors and receiving widespread acclaim.

Approximately 18 varieties of original cookie tin series will be sold, featuring collaborations with beloved picture books enjoyed across generations and trending titles such as “Lisa and Gaspard,” “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” “Nonchan,” “Who’s There, Not Yet Asleep?,” “The Bread Thief,” and “Maybe an Apple.”

The picture book collaboration cookie tins are a popular category on Cake.jp, transforming the familiar worlds of beloved children’s picture books directly into sweets. The company pays close attention to ingredients, and the cookies inside are free of wheat, eggs, and dairy. After enjoying the cookies, the charming tins can be reused as small storage containers, making them a lasting gift.
