Inclusive Sport "Boccia" Becomes Children's Anime: "Boccia Heroes" All 5 Episodes Released on YouTube

BitStar Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Taku Watanabe; hereinafter BitStar), which develops various businesses centered on an influencer marketing platform, has produced "Boccia Heroes," a children's anime based on "Boccia," which has been available on YouTube since March 8, 2026, through its animation business "BitStar Anime."

This YouTube anime "Boccia Heroes" is a completely original animation work, from the original concept and script to character development and music. NHK Enterprises was responsible for its production and copyright, while BitStar Anime handled the animation production.

Boccia is a sport where everyone, regardless of age, gender, or disability, can compete together. This anime, through an SF story inspired by Boccia, allows children to enjoy and experience the charm of Boccia.
All five episodes are available for viewing.

While fifth-grader Bocchiya Yu is playing with his dog Melo, a spaceship suddenly appears, and a mysterious alien lifeform, Spica, possesses Melo. Spica was a being who barely escaped to Earth after their home planet, "Slime Star," was destroyed by evil aliens.

Spica says they are collecting "Core Balls" to revive their comrades and restore Slime Star. It is said that collecting five "Core Balls" grants the power to fulfill any wish. However, aiming for this power, galactic outlaws successively invade Earth.

To protect his dog Melo, Bocchiya decides to fight the aliens with Spica through "Boccia." Thus, the "Boccia Battle," a universal war over "Core Balls," begins. The battle of Bocchiya, an unwilling hero, starts here.
