Asuene Promotes Sustainability in the Sports Industry Across Four Global Cities Through an Annual Global Partnership with World Football Summit

ASUENE APAC worked to promote the sustainable operation of sports events and decarbonization in the sports industry through CO2 emission calculations, CSR activities, and workshops at the conferences held in the four cities.

About the Global Partnership between Asuene and World Football Summit (WFS)

At WFS, clubs, leagues, sports organizations, brand companies, investors, and technology companies related to the football industry gather from around the world to discuss the future and challenges of the industry. In recent years, interest in sustainability has also been growing in the sports industry, making it a key theme to understand the environmental impact of event operations and consider specific improvement measures.

In September 2025, at the Hong Kong conference, the company calculated and analyzed the total CO2 emissions of the event. By visualizing the environmental impact of the entire event, including the travel of attendees and stakeholders, and proposing data-driven improvement measures, the company was recognized and subsequently participated continuously as a global sustainability partner at the Madrid, Riyadh, and Mexico conferences.

The initiatives through WFS not only promoted sustainability during the events but also led to the creation of touchpoints with companies surrounding the sports industry and local companies and organizations in each region.
