REIGNITE, a global esports team operated by Coatech Inc. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo), will hold a welcome exchange event for students using "Apex Legends."

This event is part of REIGNITE's project 'Colleg "e" Project,' aimed at developing student esports and expanding the community.

### What is Colleg "e" Project?

Its purpose is to contribute to the development of the Japanese esports industry by enabling students and their related communities to have "successful experiences through esports."

REIGNITE has provided various support to partner student organizations, including "sponsorship and operational support for student-planned events," "dispatch of affiliated players to student events," and "acceptance of student interns."

### What is Apex Legends?

It is a game operated by the major computer game publisher 'Electronic Arts (EA).' Released in 2019, it has surpassed 100 million total players.

It is a battle royale shooting game where players control characters called Legends with various abilities, and one winner is decided from 20 teams (3 players per team, total 60 people).

Many community tournaments are held, led by the official tournament 'Apex Legends Global Series' hosted by EA, with a total prize pool exceeding 300 million yen.
