Converse's "SLIT SLIDE" Introduces First Sandal Series, Offering Hands-Free Comfort Even in Sandals

Converse is launching its first sandal models from the "SLIT SLIDE" series, known for its hands-free wear and removal, including the "CAVESTAR SLIT SLIDE SNEAKER SANDAL" and "CAVESTAR SLIT SLIDE SANDAL." These new additions will be released as part of the new lineup for the Spring/Summer 2026 season.

The "SLIT SLIDE," introduced by Converse in 2025, is a hands-free shoe that has gained wide support for its convenience of quick wear and removal without using hands, and its comfortable fit, suitable for everything from daily use to active scenes.

The "SLIT SLIDE" series is developed as a model that combines a sporty impression with a design that is easy to incorporate into daily life. It features the brand's unique molded counter with a slit in the heel part, allowing for smooth wear without using hands due to the design of the upper edge, which is tilted backward when putting on the shoe. When worn, the upper edge returns to its original position, providing stable support for the heel. Furthermore, the midsole adopts a shape similar to running shoes, and its hollow structure enables natural and smooth foot movement. This ensures a comfortable fit even during long hours of wear.

This new collection maintains the functionality of the series while incorporating the lightness and breathability unique to sandals. The lineup also includes a sandal model featuring denim material for the first time in the series, making it an even easier choice for casual styling. As a model suitable for the spring/summer season, it proposes active use in a wider range of scenarios.
