CONTEC Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nishiyodogawa-ku, Osaka; President: Kazuyoshi Nishiyama) has developed and launched the 'AI-80M1202-PE', a PCI Express bus-compliant interface board equipped with high-speed 2-channel analog input functions, as part of its PC-HELPER series of PC-based measurement and control products. In recent years, there has been a rapid increase in inspection needs for LiDAR (sensors that detect distance with high precision by analyzing laser reflection) and motors for EVs (electric vehicles), both of which are essential for autonomous driving. For these devices, accurately acquiring high-speed analog signals is directly linked to ensuring quality and performance, creating a demand for faster measurement environments than ever before. This product is an analog input board with high sampling performance, featuring a maximum conversion rate of 80MSPS (12.5nsec), making it ideal for inspecting rapidly accelerating semiconductor devices and EV motor signals. It can accurately digitize minute waveform changes and high-speed phenomena that were previously difficult to capture, significantly contributing to the advancement and improved reliability of next-generation inspection systems. Key Features: 1. 2-channel simultaneous sampling at a maximum conversion rate of 80MSPS. The input range can be set via software for each channel (±10V, ±5V, ±1V) according to the signal source level. It also includes digital I/O (4 points each at LVTTL level). 2. High-speed data collection via DMA transfer and large-capacity memory. DMA (Direct Memory Access) transfer on the PCI Express bus enables high-speed data transfer between the PC and the board. It is also equipped with large-capacity memory (512M data) for data retention, allowing for high-speed collection of large-volume sampling data. 3. Driver libraries for Windows/Linux. A driver library API-AIO (WDM) for Windows is available. Development for the Linux driver library API-AIO (LNX) is currently underway.
