On the other hand, they are also a special fruit that announces the change of seasons, available only during a brief period in early summer. Precisely because we live in a modern age where various ingredients can be enjoyed year-round, Conrad Tokyo cherishes the seasonal deliciousness and sentiment. With this desire, we have prepared the "Cherry & Rose Afternoon Tea 'La Fleur'", inspired by a glamorous and fragrant early summer rose garden, with the lovely cherry taking center stage. We will serve 5 types of sweets where the loveliness of cherries harmonizes with the elegance of roses—such as mousse shaped like bright red cherries and glass sweets depicting roses floating on water—along with 3 types of savories using carefully selected ingredients like crab and roast beef. The scones, popular for their unchanged recipe since our opening, will be available in plain as well as a seasonal limited flavor kneaded with cherry pulp.
In the Deluxe Afternoon Tea, which comes with a glass of Champagne for a toast, you can enjoy the 7 standard afternoon tea items, plus a savory dish resembling a cherry made from foie gras mousse, and seasonal fresh cherries. Furthermore, during the same period from 6:30 PM, we will also offer a Night Tea where you can enjoy 4 types each of savories and sweets along with free-flowing drinks including beer and sparkling wine.
