Connehito Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shinichiro Sugii; hereinafter "Connehito") announces that Tetsuteru Nozawa has been newly appointed as CTO (Chief Technology Officer), effective April 2026.
■ Background of the Appointment
Under the vision of "Towards a society where your vision of a family can continue to be realized," Connehito has been facing the many voices and data regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare, and solving problems through businesses such as the community app for mothers, "Mamari."
On the other hand, with the rapid spread of generative AI, the way support is provided for individual worries and needs is changing drastically. To adapt to this era, it is necessary to further evolve the value of the data Connehito has collected so far.
This change of CTO is part of an effort to accelerate this initiative. Under the new CTO, who has expertise in machine learning and data utilization, we will implement product development utilizing AI and data, evolve our internal operations and decision-making processes, and promote business and organizational development premised on AI.
■ Comments from the new CTO, Tetsuteru Nozawa
Since joining Connehito, I have been facing the challenge of how to structure the vast amount of "voices" gathered in "Mamari" and connect them to providing value to users and support for companies.
With the evolution of generative AI, I feel that the value of the data we have accumulated, such as the "real worries and backgrounds of families," has increased more than ever. I would like to not merely accumulate the earnest voices of each individual, which cannot be captured by general information alone, as mere data, but to transform them into value through the power of technology and ultimately return them to the users.
Moving forward as CTO, I will focus on evolving Connehito into an "AI Native" organization. Rather than introducing AI simply as a means to streamline operations, we will review our business workflows, decision-making, and the very nature of our organization, promoting business operations and organizational development premised on AI.
