Background In recent years, interest in edible flowers and high-value-added sweets has been increasing in Japan. Particularly for gifts, demand is expanding for products that emphasize visual beauty and storytelling.

Confetti ROSA positions rose sugar confections not merely as sweets, but as products that value the 'experience of gifting,' proposing new value to the Japanese gift market.

Development Story The development was triggered by tasting a rose sugar confection for the first time in Florence, Italy, and being deeply impressed by its delicate beauty and flavor, feeling that it would become a valuable sweet in Japan as well.

Subsequently, after encountering traditional methods at a long-established confectionery in France, we repeated trial production and improvements over 300 times over about 7 years with the goal of reproducing authentic quality. We propose the rose sugar confection, a classical European sweet, as a new gift that conveys the joy of giving, spreading it to Japan.
