actcoin and ISS Donate 50,000 Yen to Three Social Contribution Organizations Through the “Chiritumo!” Project

actcoin, a social contribution platform operated by Japan Comsync Co., Ltd., has partnered with Tokyo Gakugei University International Secondary School (ISS) to carry out the third actcoin ISS Project, “Chiritumo!”, and will donate to three organizations through the initiative. Launched in 2023, the program visualizes students’ social actions conducted on campus through an app and a dedicated webpage. The project also connects students’ actions to donations for NPOs and other organizations, with students participating in the process of selecting donation recipients. For this initiative, social contribution actions created by students between the second half of 2024 and the first half of 2025 resulted in a total donation of 50,000 yen to three organizations: 20,000 yen to Hajimari no Basho, 15,000 yen to Plogging Japan, and 15,000 yen to A-GOAL. ISS is a six-year secondary school in Nerima, Tokyo, with about 700 students, around 40% of whom are returnees or have lived overseas. The school is certified for the International Baccalaureate MYP and DP programs as well as SSH, and is engaged in advanced educational activities. By introducing actcoin, the school aims to encourage continuous participation in social contribution activities and help students see the accumulated impact of their actions. During events such as SAWeek, student organizers led donation drives and hosted film screenings themed around social issues. These activities gave students opportunities to engage with social challenges, think about what they can do, and learn about the actions their peers are taking. The donations will support child assistance, environmental action, and international cooperation. Hajimari no Basho will use the funds for stationery and event materials for its third-place activities for children in Nerima. A-GOAL will use the donation to operate a youth soccer league in Kibera, Africa, where the funds are expected to provide roughly 750 meals. Plogging Japan will use the funds to promote race ploggers, who support events combining jogging and litter pickup. Students shared comments such as wanting to help children around them who are not attending school, finding the combination of jogging and litter pickup interesting, and feeling drawn to initiatives that support children through sports. actcoin plans to continue its work with ISS while aiming to expand this model nationwide. In fiscal 2026, it will strengthen relationships with social contribution organizations and publish a monthly “SA News” bulletin to share event information, organizational activities, and current topics. actcoin is an application service that awards digital points whenever users participate in social contribution activities online or offline. It currently has more than 33,000 individual users and over 400 registered organizations, functioning as a platform where people and initiatives involved in social contribution can connect across sectors.
