Funding Background and Future Outlook: Urgent Need to Address Increasing Incidents with the Evolution of Cloud Services/AI
As SaaS and cloud services become entrenched as social infrastructure, system outages (incidents) have become a critical risk significantly impacting corporate activities. Particularly in recent years, the increasing complexity of systems has heightened the difficulty of incident response, increasing the burden on frontline workers.
Furthermore, while the evolution of generative AI improves productivity, it also complicates root cause identification and decision-making due to systems becoming black boxes. Moreover, the risks associated with the autonomous decisions of Agentic AI have been pointed out, making incident response even more challenging. In reality, many frontline teams must make response decisions based on fragmented information, leading to heavy reliance on individual expertise.
To solve these challenges, our company is developing 'Incident Lake', an AI specialized in incident management. 'Incident Lake' is an autonomous AI that cross-analyzes information such as logs, past response histories, and chats to automate root cause identification and the suggestion of response strategies. This enables faster and more advanced incident response. Currently, against the backdrop of the need for advanced incident response in various companies, inquiries for 'Incident Lake' are increasing, and consultations regarding implementation are expanding.
In light of this situation, we have raised funds to further accelerate our growth.
With this funding, we will accelerate implementation expansion in the enterprise domain and product development, and by promoting our Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, we aim to establish a next-generation incident management system centered on 'Incident Lake'.
