--- Background of the Event ---
Exchanges through public-private partnerships were also held at the House of Representatives building.
Regional issues such as population decline, labor shortages, disaster prevention, tourism, childcare, GX/DX, etc., are becoming increasingly complex. In such times, the number of issues that cannot be solved by either the administration or the private sector alone is increasing, making public-private partnership platforms more important for local governments, companies, local communities, and stakeholders to share knowledge across boundaries and implement solutions.
The Future City Planning Organization positions this forum not merely as an information dissemination event, but as a "place to take action" to advance regions and society. The theme is: "Moving Japan forward by 1%. A future for regions drawn and moved together by public and private sectors." The aim is to gradually move Japan forward through the accumulation of local practices and collaborations, rather than making large, sudden changes.
"Award" newly established in 2026
In 2026, in addition to the existing forum functions, we will implement the "Public-Private Partnership Award" to honor excellent public-private partnership projects.
By visualizing and promoting not only trending topics but also practices that truly advance regions, reproducible models, and initiatives with public-private co-creation, we aim to encourage new challenges across the country.
