Kochi Anime Creator Award 2026 Grand Prix Announced

The Kochi Anime Creator Award 2026 ceremony took place on April 11, 2026, during the Kochi Anikuri Festival 2026. Hana Takubo's "I Fly in the Sky Where No One Can See Me" was selected as the Grand Prix winner. The event is part of the Kochi Anime Creator Holy Land Project, which began in January 2022 and is now in its fifth year. This project aims to foster the anime industry in Kochi Prefecture through collaboration between industry, academia, government, and finance, including support from Kochi Shinkin Bank as part of its 100th-anniversary initiatives and the Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Chiiki Mirai Foundation.
