Head to the Summer Beach with Gachapin & Mukku: 'Columbia × Gachapin Mukku' Summer Collection

Since its founding in 1938, COLUMBIA (Columbia Sportswear Japan Co., Ltd., 6-27-30 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo 7F, Representative: Massimo Lazzari) has consistently delivered highly original and innovative outdoor apparel. Starting July 3, 2026 (Fri), the brand will launch a summer collaboration collection with Gachapin and Mukku, available at eight directly operated stores and the official online store.

This collection is a special project launched in celebration of Marine Day.

Centered around summer fishing scenes and water activities, the lineup combines Columbia's signature functionality with the fun-filled world of Gachapin and Mukku.

The collection includes seven styles across two T-shirt designs, sandals, caps, and bags. Designed with both functionality for seaside and leisure use and playful aesthetics, these items are versatile for a wide range of occasions.

Among the T-shirts, the 'Little Opawa Beach Gachamukku SS Tee' features Columbia's proprietary cooling technology, OMNI-FREEZE ZERO. Circular prints on the inside react to sweat, lowering the fabric's overall temperature and ensuring comfortable wear even in hot conditions.

The designs are specially adapted from Columbia's archive graphics for this collaboration. Highlights include Gachapin dressed as a fishing lure and hidden appearances of Gachapin and Mukku within fly chart patterns—graphic elements that blend the brand's outdoor perspective with a sense of playfulness.

Gachapin and Mukku, beloved across generations for decades, join forces with Columbia, a brand that continuously promotes the joy of outdoor experiences. Through this collaboration, they aim to convey the fun of playing in nature and the joy of heading out into summer's great outdoors, expanding into new fields like beaches and waterfronts.
