The Future of Manufacturing CoLab Wants to Spread from Japan to the World The work of production engineers on the front lines of manufacturing is a creative task: deciphering the "master craftsmanship know-how" cultivated over many years by skilled workers and "highly generalizing" it so that world-class productivity can be "reproduced by anyone, anywhere."
