The Kurokawa Satoyama Center, located in Kurokawa, Kawanishi City, Hyogo Prefecture, will host experiential workshops for adults in May at its Satoyama base, which utilizes the former Kurokawa Elementary School. You can spend time away from your daily routine through diverse activities such as handicrafts and reading clubs. Each program can be attended individually, and the content is designed for beginners to easily participate. ■ Adult Atelier You can choose your preferred activity from simple frame weaving, wool felting, or darning (clothing repair). Date & Time: May 10 (Sun) & May 29 (Fri) 10:00-15:00 Target: Junior high school students and older Participation Fee: 1,000 yen Application: Not required (free entry/exit) ■ Handicraft Class This workshop offers an experience from cotton ginning to thread making and weaving.
