What is Parenting Cafe & BAR? In the daily grind of working hard for your children, "your own feelings" are often put on the back burner. Parenting Cafe & BAR is a course where parenting serves as an opportunity to reflect on yourself and learn to cherish yourself.

There is no parent who does not wish for their child's happiness. However, on the other hand, it is easy to put yourself second.

In this course, we value the process of noticing and accepting your inner emotions and thoughts, using the worries and conflicts you face daily through parenting as clues.

Parenting is "raising a child," but at the same time, it is also "raising yourself."

The theme for Season 1 of FY2026 (April to July) is "Self-Esteem." The mindset of accepting both the good and the bad entirely, and thinking, "I am fine just the way I am." That is self-esteem.

People with self-esteem can live their lives vibrantly and happily. At the Parenting Cafe, we nurture not only the children's self-esteem but also the adults' self-esteem. First, we provide a time for adults to relax their shoulders and return to themselves.

Features - A program combining lectures by instructors with small-group dialogue and workshops - Designed to reflect on "how you are" through parenting worries - Choice of in-person or online participation - Both single-session and full-season participation are possible

Target Audience Primarily parents of toddlers to elementary school children, but parents of middle/high schoolers and fathers are also welcome to participate. *Childminding volunteers are available for in-person events (children can accompany you)
