Saitama Prefecture's Wakō City Begins Full-Scale Utilization of School Takt in All Municipal Elementary and Junior High Schools

CodeTakt Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, CEO: Masaki Goto)'s lesson support cloud "School Takt" has been adopted by all municipal elementary and junior high schools in Wakō City, Saitama Prefecture (a total of 12 schools, with approximately 6,000 students as of Reiwa 8). Following a trial introduction, full-scale utilization began at each school from April 2026. For our company, which has a strong track record of implementation and support for many local governments within Saitama Prefecture, Wakō City's adoption is a symbolic case that further solidifies our role as a "learning platform" in the prefecture. We will continue to strive to create an environment for high-quality education tailored to the regional characteristics of Wakō City and the entire Saitama Prefecture. Selection Background: Prioritizing "Easy Operability" and "Educational Data Utilization" As Wakō City promoted the development of an environment to enhance student learning, network environment compatibility issues causing operational delays and the complexity of operations, which raised psychological hurdles, became major obstacles to ICT utilization in overall educational activities. Minor delays or operational uncertainties disrupted lesson progress, potentially widening the gap in ICT skills among teachers and their application based on subject characteristics, thus stagnating ICT utilization itself. To overcome such an environment, the city's Board of Education established "ease of use in the field" as the highest priority for selecting a lesson support system. Concurrently, they emphasized "educational data utilization" – the perspective of connecting children's learning trajectories, accumulated through daily ICT activities, to subsequent instruction – and proceeded with the selection. Selection and Implementation Process: Approximately 10 Months of Selection. Thorough Verification from Three Different Perspectives To ensure a system selection that would be convincing enough for the field to "want to use it from tomorrow," a selection process spanning approximately 10 months was conducted, primarily by the "ICT Education Promotion Committee" composed of teachers from each school. In comparing multiple systems, after various company demonstrations and practical trials (demo use) by the committee, products were evaluated from the perspectives of the following three parties. As a result, School Takt was adopted. Furthermore, a trial introduction across all schools was conducted from the summer of 2025.
