Cocoo Opens Nagoya Office to Accelerate Regional 'Chisan-Chikatsu' DX Promotion Model

Cocoo Co., Ltd., a company supporting societal digital transformation through its 'Talent' x 'Digital' business, opened its new 'Nagoya Office' in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, on Monday, May 25, 2026, as a hub for its regional revitalization efforts.

This marks Cocoo's 7th regional office and its 3rd in the Chubu area, following the Toyama and Hamamatsu offices.

■ Background of Opening the Nagoya Office
Aichi Prefecture is one of Japan's largest manufacturing hubs, having developed diverse craftsmanship centered on the automotive industry. It is currently a massive market with emerging demand for digital transformation, as well as an area for collaboration among local governments, startups, and enterprises.

Cocoo established its Nagoya office within the co-creation platform 'Nagono Campus' to address regional issues together with administrators and businesses in this intersection of these three elements.

Through this hub, Cocoo will promote a 'Chisan-Chikatsu' (local production for local consumption) model, where residents in Aichi Prefecture with no digital experience are hired and trained as Cocoo's full-time employees to support the digital transformation of local businesses and municipalities. By using collaborations already underway in multiple Aichi municipalities as model cases, Cocoo aims to accelerate digital transformation across the entire prefecture and contribute to the region's sustainable development.

■ Collaboration Track Record and Future Developments in Aichi Prefecture
Cocoo was selected for the 'AICHI CO-CREATION STARTUP PROGRAM 2025' sponsored by Aichi Prefecture and is pursuing co-creation projects with multiple municipalities. Currently, it collaborates with three areas tailored to each municipality's circumstances:

・Okazaki City: Support from digital talent development to employment. Cocoo is exploring ways to support digital adoption and utilization in local companies while facilitating job matching for women seeking employment.

・Shinshiro City: Creation of new jobs and support for generative AI utilization in depopulated areas. Cocoo is promoting initiatives for job creation, having provided instructors for a 'Generative AI Course' hosted by the Shinshiro City Employment Creation Council in February 2026, supporting DX skill acquisition and work-style reform for local companies and job seekers.

・Seto City: Building an ecosystem of 'digital talent x local industry'. Aiming for the realization of a decentralized society to combat population decline, Cocoo supports the construction of this ecosystem in anticipation of the '3rd Comprehensive Strategy for People, Town, and Work' starting in fiscal 2027.

Following its selection for this program, Cocoo will base its operations on initiatives in these three cities and advance project implementation by 2026 and 2027. Using the Nagoya hub as a starting point, these results will be expanded to other municipalities across Aichi Prefecture.
