Earth hacks Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Sumito Sekine; hereinafter referred to as "Earth hacks"), which develops a co-creation platform for consumers aiming to develop decarbonization-related products, services, and businesses based on consumer voices, is pleased to announce that the music video for the collaboration song "Watcha☆Future" by the special unit "DECA!BEAT," formed through a collaboration with Hello! Project, has surpassed 300,000 views within two weeks of its release.
Earth hacks expresses decarbonization in an approachable way as "decarbo" and is working to create mechanisms that make it easier for consumers to feel personally connected to environmental contribution. These include promoting "decarbo actions" – environmentally conscious behaviors that can be easily practiced in daily life – and developing "decarbo scores" that quantify the reduction rate of CO2 emissions in products and services.
In this initiative, a collaboration with Hello! Project, a special unit called "DECA!BEAT" was formed, bringing together one next-generation member from each of the seven groups who will carry the future of the Earth. The collaboration song "Watcha☆Future," which embodies Earth hacks' proposal of "effortless and enjoyable decarbonization" in daily life, was released.
