Taiwan Lottery Announces Record-Breaking 800 Million TWD Dragon Boat Festival Bonus

In anticipation of the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival, Taiwan Lottery announced today that this year's total bonus for the festival will reach a record-breaking 800 million New Taiwan Dollars. Among these, the "Grand Lottery" (Da Le Tou) will feature 100 additional prizes of 1 million TWD each. From June 5 to July 17, over 13 draws, players will have a double chance to win both the jackpot and the million-dollar bonus. Taiwan Lottery held a press conference this morning, where General Manager Xie Zhihong announced that this year's bonus will kick off with the popular "Grand Lottery" and the "BINGO BINGO" game, which draws every five minutes. Taiwan Lottery stated that starting June 5, the "Grand Lottery" will add a promotion of "100 sets of 1 million TWD." In addition to regular prizes, players who match any of the 100 sets of six additional numbers will win 1 million TWD. If there are multiple winners for a set, the prize will be split. If the 100 sets are not all won, the remaining sets will be carried over to the next draw until all are claimed or until July 17. Tickets are available for purchase starting today. Xie Zhihong recalled that in the 2024 and 2025 Dragon Boat and Mid-Autumn Festival promotions, there were 440 winners, with 15.9% of them using package betting. By region, New Taipei City and Kaohsiung City tied for first place with 67 wins each, followed by Taipei City and Taoyuan City with 57 wins each. Additionally, "BINGO BINGO" will offer increased prizes for 31 consecutive days from June 5 to July 5, and the "39 Lotto" will also see prize increases for its "two-match" game from June 22 to July 11.
