DPP Party Election: Su Chiao-hui Says New Generation Takes on New Era

DPP New Taipei mayoral candidate and city party committee chair Su Chiao-hui inspected the party's internal elections today, stating that the party is becoming younger and that the new generation is taking on a new era. Meanwhile, KMT New Taipei mayoral candidate Lee Shu-chuan emphasized that New Taipei is a city of immigrants, promising to take good care of the city as his 'second home.' Su visited Sanchong District to observe the voting process and expressed satisfaction with the high participation. Regarding arms procurement, she expressed hope that both ruling and opposition parties would work together to maintain Taiwan's freedom, democracy, and security. On the 7th anniversary of same-sex marriage, she acknowledged the efforts of former President Tsai Ing-wen and others. Lee Shu-chuan, accompanied by Mayor Hou Yu-ih, visited temples and attended an association meeting in Tucheng, where he launched his support group.
