Baltic Presidents issue joint statement condemning Russian disinformation

The presidents of Estonia, Alar Karis; Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs; and Lithuania, Gitanas Nauseda, issued a joint statement on the 21st condemning recent airspace violations by unmanned aerial vehicles from Russia and Belarus. The statement accused Russia of continuing a disinformation campaign against the Baltic states to mislead the international community. The three nations emphasized that they have never allowed their territory or airspace to be used for drone attacks against Russia. Furthermore, they condemned threats made by Russia against Latvia at the UN Security Council, viewing them as fabricated accusations to distract from the war in Ukraine. The three presidents reaffirmed their support for Ukraine and their commitment to NATO's collective defense.
