Tou Chung-kang Returns to Studio Recording After 10 Years, Shares Life in Guam

(CNA, Taipei, May 20, by reporter Hung Su-tsin) Host Tou Chung-kang returned to a studio recording for the first time in 10 years to share about his life after moving to Guam. When host Dee Hsu (Xiao S) jokingly asked if he was already living a retired life, he stated that he decided to immigrate to accompany his children for their studies, adding that Guam's natural environment has completely changed his kids. Tou is currently in Guam full-time with his family. According to a press release from the production unit of the show "Miss Buxidi," Tou generously shared personal life photos on the program. In the photos, he wore a simple T-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops, exuding a strong vacation vibe, prompting Dee Hsu to exclaim, "So you're living the retired life now, aren't you?" Tou laughed in response, "It's quite happy." Subsequently, Dee Hsu keenly asked, "Will there be a day when you find you don't have enough money and have to come back to Taiwan to work?" Tou humorously quipped, "That should be soon!" Regarding the reason for moving to Guam, Tou admitted that he decided to immigrate to accompany his children for their education. He revealed that he initially thought a simple registration would allow his children to attend a local elementary school, but the schools he favored were all full. After discussing with his wife, they resolutely decided to move the entire family. Tou also added with a laugh that nature has completely changed his children. His child, who was originally very afraid of insects, now embraces nature every day.
