According to the Railway Police Bureau's investigation, a passenger fell onto the tracks at the Taipei end of the second platform at Songshan Station and was hit by a freight train. The passenger's death was confirmed at the scene, and their identity is pending investigation. The site is temporarily operating on a single track with two-way traffic.
