(CNA, Hsinchu, May 20, by reporter Chang Chien-chung) Renewable energy provider Leopard Energy announced today the establishment of a new subsidiary, Leopard Supercomputing, to seize business opportunities in the AI data center market. Silergy also announced a collaboration with Canadian energy firm Aegis Critical Energy Defence and US cybersecurity company Quantum eMotion to develop a quantum-safe energy storage system, for which it has received a US order. At an investor conference held by Leopard Energy this year, General Manager Chao Shu-Min stated that Leopard Supercomputing will integrate the group's energy advantages to address the needs of AI data centers. The goal is to start contributing to revenue from the Taiwanese market this year, challenge for doubled growth next year, and account for a double-digit percentage of the group's revenue by 2030. Leopard Energy's Vice President, Tan Yu-Hsuan, pointed out that the Leopard Energy Group has comprehensive energy integration capabilities and can provide distributed energy solutions. Its subsidiary, Taino Green Power, will assist companies in acquiring green electricity to meet RE100 and net-zero requirements, while T-Power New Energy will help build energy storage systems to enhance grid stability and energy dispatch flexibility. Leopard Energy's cumulative revenue for the first four months of this year was NT$2.201 billion, a decrease of 7.9% compared to the same period last year. The company expects its full-year revenue to challenge for a new historical high. Silergy explained that in its collaboration with Aegis and Quantum eMotion, Silergy is responsible for manufacturing the energy storage system equipment, Aegis provides a defense-grade energy management system, and Quantum eMotion supplies the quantum encryption technology. Silergy's cumulative revenue for the first four months of this year reached NT$4.776 billion, already surpassing its full-year 2025 revenue of NT$4.221 billion.
