Puzi Mayor's Cup Baseball Tournament Kicks Off with 40 Little League and Senior League Teams

The event aims to enhance grassroots skills and deepen local exchanges and city marketing through baseball. Hosted by the Puzi City Office of Chiayi County, the 3rd Puzi Mayor's Cup National Baseball Invitational Tournament will be held from May 19 to May 28. The opening ceremony took place today at the Puzi Municipal Baseball Stadium, gathering elite teams and showcasing the passionate and resilient spirit of Taiwanese grassroots baseball. This tournament brings together top baseball players from all over the country, with 24 Little League teams and 16 Senior League teams, totaling 40 teams, making it a grand event. Senior League teams include well-known schools like Ku Pao Home Economics & Commerce Vocational High School and Ping Jen High School. Puzi Mayor Wu Pin-jui, through a tournament press release, expressed gratitude to various organizations and local enterprises for their enthusiastic sponsorship and support, which allowed the event to be held smoothly and provide a quality competitive stage for young players.
