This year's Dragon Boat Festival holiday runs for three days from June 19 to 21. To meet the passenger demand during the holiday period, TRA will operate an additional 116 trains of various classes across its network for five days from June 18 to June 22. This includes 4 real-name registration trains on the eastern line, 4 cross-line Tze-Chiang Limited Express trains on the northern semi-loop, 6 cross-line Tze-Chiang Limited Express trains on the southern semi-loop, and 10 direct Tze-Chiang Limited Express trains between northern and central Taiwan.

In a press release today, TRA stated that as of 9 a.m., a total of 66,378 bookings for 73,699 tickets were completed. Seats are currently still available for various time slots, and passengers are encouraged to make use of them.

Furthermore, TRA announced that the additional real-name registration trains on June 18, 19, and 21 will be open for booking from 12:00 a.m. on May 20.
