Hsinchu Nanyliao Family Beach and Wading Pool to Open from June 2 to Late September for Summer Fun

The Hsinchu City Government announced today that the family beach and wading pool at the Nanyliao Visitor Center will officially open from June 2 to September 30. The site offers a free and safe water-play area for both adults and children to enjoy the coastal summer charm. The city government stated today that the Water Resources Agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs recently downgraded the water supply signal for the Hsinchu area to green, indicating a stable water supply. Consequently, the city has initiated plans to open summer water facilities, aiming to provide a recreational space that is safe, comfortable, and encourages parent-child interaction. The city government noted its ongoing efforts to enhance the environment of the Hsinchu Fishing Port, from the opening of the Zhufeng Fish Market and tourism promotion to facility improvements and landscape upgrades. These measures have gradually transformed the port into a key coastal leisure destination in northern Taiwan. The opening of the wading pool is expected to sustain the summer tourism boom. The Hsinchu City Department of Industrial Development stated that the Nanyliao Visitor Center's family beach and wading pool will be free to use during the opening period, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. The facility will be closed for cleaning and maintenance every Monday and Friday. In addition to the wading pool and sandpit, the visitor center also provides a comfortable rest area with amenities like a slide.
