Chen Chih-hung, deputy convener of the Presidential Office's Healthy Taiwan Promotion Committee, stated that although Taiwan was not invited to the WHA, President Lai Ching-te's 'Healthy Taiwan' national vision has been concretely implemented as the 'Six Pillars of Healthy Taiwan.' These pillars cover cancer prevention, control of the 'three highs' (hypertension, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia), mental health, medical resilience, sustainable national health insurance, and Long-Term Care 3.0. This policy framework is highly aligned with the WHA's focus areas. Furthermore, a five-year 'Healthy Taiwan Deep Cultivation Plan' with a budget of NT$48.9 billion has been launched to guide public-private health investment, and its successful experience can serve as a model for international healthcare systems.
