Wu Der-romg: Front Moves South, Bringing Rain and Slight Cooling to Northern, Eastern, and Central Taiwan

Meteorologist Wu Der-romg stated that the third weather front of the plum rain season is moving south, bringing local showers or thunderstorms and a slight drop in temperature to northern, eastern, and central Taiwan. The Central Weather Administration issued a heavy rain advisory, warning of potential heavy rainfall in Miaoli and areas north of Hsinchu. The front will shift south tomorrow, maintaining rain chances island-wide. From the 16th to 18th, the front weakens, bringing summer-like heat with occasional afternoon showers. By the 19th, stable and hot weather will return.
