New Taipei City mayoral candidates introduced major policy platforms. Su Chiao-hui proposed a 'Triple Family Care' plan, featuring night-time childcare services, emergency allowances for professional caregivers, and an increase in annual subsidies for long-term care residents from 180,000 to 240,000 TWD. Meanwhile, Li Sichuan promoted a '30-minute Living Circle' strategy, focusing on expanding light rail and MRT networks to connect New Taipei, Taipei, and Taoyuan. He emphasized a co-governance model with Taipei City to foster prosperity and suggested converting senior card points into stored value for medical expenses.
