Strong Convective Clouds Bring Torrential Rain Warning to Hualien

The Central Weather Administration (CWA) has issued a torrential rain warning due to vigorous convective cloud development, which is expected to bring short-duration heavy rainfall. On the 15th, Hualien County faces localized heavy or torrential rain, while parts of Yilan, Taitung, and mountainous regions from Miaoli to Chiayi, Kaohsiung, and Pingtung may also experience heavy rain. Authorities are advising the public to be cautious of lightning, strong gusts, potential landslides, rockfalls, rising river levels in mountainous areas, and flooding in low-lying regions.
