(CNA, Kyiv, 15th, Comprehensive Foreign Report) Russia and Ukraine each exchanged 205 prisoners of war today. Earlier this month, under the mediation of US President Trump, Russia and Ukraine reached a ceasefire agreement, and the exchange of POWs was part of the agreement.

According to AFP, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated in a social media statement that 205 Russian soldiers have returned from territory controlled by the Kyiv authorities, and the Russian side has handed over 205 Ukrainian Armed Forces POWs in exchange.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated: 'This is the first phase of a 1,000-for-1,000 POW exchange.'
