Red Fort Bombing in Delhi Kills 11; NIA Indicts 10 Individuals

(Central News Agency, Reporter Lee Chin-wei, New Delhi, 15th) An explosion outside the famous Red Fort in Delhi, India, in November last year claimed 11 lives. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has indicted 10 individuals.

The car bombing outside the Red Fort occurred on November 10, 2025, causing 11 deaths, multiple injuries, and massive property damage. Indian authorities designated the incident as a terrorist attack. On the 14th, the NIA submitted a 7,500-page charge sheet listing 10 defendants associated with the terrorist organization 'Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind' (AGuH).

The charge sheet includes 588 testimonies, 395 documents, and over 200 pieces of physical evidence, detailing how the defendants obtained materials and equipment through various channels to orchestrate the explosion.

The Times of India reported today that among the defendants mentioned in the charge sheet, one died in the explosion. His identity has been confirmed through DNA and fingerprint analysis, and the charges against him will be dropped. Legal proceedings for the others are still ongoing.

The NIA's investigation spanned across several regions, including Jammu & Kashmir, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR). Investigations by relevant units found that multiple incited medical professionals were involved.

The NIA discovered that the group had organized the 'Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind' as early as 2022, conspiring to overthrow the Indian government and promote Islamic doctrines. The syndicate used commercially available chemicals to make explosives and conducted experiments to make them more destructive.

The NIA noted that evidence shows the organization not only manufactured explosives but also acquired drones capable of carrying explosive payloads, attempting to attack security installations across India.

In addition, after searching several locations, the NIA found defendants illegally possessing contraband, including AK-47 rifles and a large amount of ammunition.

The NIA stated that although multiple people have been arrested and indicted in connection with this case, suspects remain at large, and relevant units are making every effort to apprehend them. (Editor: Tang Sheng-yang) 1150515
