Names Revealed for Shei-Pa's Brown Fish Owl Chicks; Expected to Fledge in a Week

The Shei-Pa National Park Headquarters and Pingtung University of Science and Technology have been live-streaming the breeding process of the Brown Fish Owl in Wuling. A naming event was held for two owl chicks, receiving 1,924 votes. The winning names were 'Yuan Bao' and 'Xiao Bao'. The Brown Fish Owl is Taiwan's largest owl species. The older chick, Yuan Bao, is already capable of short flights. Both chicks are expected to leave their nest in about a week, concluding this precious documentation.
